Recently, a power equipment company in Jiangsu successfully used our 16-ton rail transfer cart to overcome challenges in moving heavy power equipment—such as high-voltage switchgear and generator boxes—within its workshops. This solution enhanced both safety and operational efficiency.
Previously, the company relied on traditional forklifts for transportation. This method not only risked damaging the equipment through collisions but also posed significant safety hazards due to the high volume of personnel in the workshop.
The newly deployed industrial transfer cart uses a rail-powered system. By connecting to pre-installed rails through an onboard current collector, it receives a continuous and stable power supply. This eliminates the range limitations and charging delays associated with battery-powered vehicles and enables 24/7 uninterrupted equipment transport.
To adapt to the complex workshop environment, the cart is equipped with linear scanning radars on both ends. These provide real-time monitoring of obstacles—such as pedestrians, tools, or debris—within the cart's linear operating range. When an object is detected, the system immediately initiates emergency braking, ensuring the safety of both personnel and equipment.
Acknowledging the delicate nature of power equipment, the transfer cart's platform is fitted with wear-resistant, non-slip rubber pads. These increase friction and effectively prevent equipment shifting or collisions during starts and stops.
Since its commissioning one month ago, our electric transfer cart has safely completed over 200 equipment transfers. It has improved transportation efficiency by 45% compared to traditional methods and reduced the equipment damage rate to just 0.1%, receiving strong approval from the customer's team.
