Custom Trackless Flatbed Vehicle for Efficient Steel Workpiece

Hello everyone, I'm Abby from Henan Peisa Machinery. Today, I'd like to share a custom project we completed for a client in Chile.

The client is a major steel manufacturer in Chile. With their expanding business, they needed an efficient material transfer cart to improve the transportation of steel and machinery within their workshops.

What makes this case unique is that the workshop floor isn't made of conventional concrete, but rather a hollow steel grating. Because of this, our standard polyurethane wheels would not have been suitable and could have been easily damaged.

Since we hadn't previously encountered this type of flooring, we immediately contacted our wheel supplier to develop a solution tailored to the specific site conditions.

After some discussion, we decided to equip this Trackless flatbed vehicle with large-diameter 350mm wheels featuring a wide tread. The key advantage of this tire is its wide contact surface, which distributes weight evenly and enables stable operation on the steel grating without sinking into the hollow sections. After 45 days of professional manufacturing and quality inspection, the vehicle was delivered and has already demonstrated significant handling advantages in our client's workshops.

According to feedback, this transfer vehicle has greatly improved the efficiency of moving steel and mechanical components. Tasks that once required several people can now be handled efficiently across multiple locations by a single operator using a remote control, significantly reducing labor costs.
