Custom Rail Flat Cars for Material Handling in Foundries

At the start of the project, our technical team conducted an on-site visit to the client's production facility. We carefully analyzed the workshop layout, the location of the raw material furnace, the width of the passageways, and the frequency of material transfers. Based on this information, the team quickly developed a targeted Material Transfer Cartsolution—one that accommodates both the simultaneous transport of personnel and raw materials while ensuring clearance for overhead equipment in the passageway.

Although this transfer cart's design load capacity is less than one ton, we maintained the highest production standards, adhering strictly to standard load-bearing process requirements. The frame is constructed from high-strength steel, all welded components underwent multiple flaw detection tests, and the transmission system is equipped with high-quality motors and precision gears. Even the track laying accuracy is controlled at the millimeter level. This rigorous quality control ensures stable operation. 

Since being put into service, this Rail Flat Car has seamlessly integrated into the client's production process. Its primary task is to transport three operators along with raw materials, moving precisely along the preset track to the top of the raw material furnace. When ingredients need to be added, the flat car stops steadily at the designated position, allowing personnel to complete the feeding operation with ease. After loading, the flat car returns smoothly. Thanks to its compact design, it can easily avoid overhead equipment in the passageway, ensuring uninterrupted workflow.

The client has repeatedly tested this flat car, and each trial has exceeded expectations. "It is safe, efficient, and completely solves our raw material transportation challenges."
